“What will I be when I grow up?” Even a creature as small as a honeybee can ask this question. Newly hatched Sophie Bea Bee must learn many things before she can begin to graduate from the basic tasks of a bee inside the hive. Sophie Bea also has a big decision to make. She is destined to fulfill one role, but she questions that decision after she sees the world outside the hive. What will Sophie decide? Will she risk life outside the hive with its many dangers in order to serve the world as its most important living creature? Will her mother queen bee allow her to make a choice?
